Safe Values?

Stories within Actalong are created with care to not promote activities that are unhealthy or not honoring of the marriages that people commit to. For example, they will exclude drugs, tobacco smoking, and hatred.

The stories may have references to or involve such activities, as realistic scenarios in the world, but in a way that does not promote them. For example, a character who is a smoker looking to quit smoking is not the same as promoting smoking. This is similar to a movie that is a positive influence, yet has realistic obstacles along the way.

Stories will also exclude acting out cheating on spouses, non-consenting activities, and threesomes, even if the character progresses beyond those activities over the course of the story.

You may easily customize stories to exclude pretty much anything that may offend you.

Is This A Religious Product?

The product is not a “religious product,” nor does the content promote any religion, except for select faith-based stories that are clearly noted and intended for faith-based audiences.

Safe For Christians?

Actalong content is respectful of all religions. In fact, it rarely would reference the topic of any religion directly, except where you customize it to do so.

We have put specific extra effort towards ensuring content does not promote portrayals of God, Jesus, Christians as a group, and the Church, in a negative way. We have also put effort into ensuring it does not mock core Christian beliefs, including the beauty of marriage.

Is The Company Christian?

It depends what you are asking.

The company has numerous employees, including a diverse group of people with wide-ranging values and religions.

The owners of the company and active inventors of Actalong are Christian, and are willing to openly say, despite understanding that not everyone will agree and a few will even want to censor, that they believe Jesus to be one with God, historically and accurately documented in the Bible, the source of their deepest joy, and the foundation of their own marriage.

Why Marriage?

Actalong Lovebirds can be used by any two adults: it does not discriminate or even ask for such details about who is using it.

The inventors of Actalong spotted an underserved market and challenge, and they positioned their marketing efforts in that direction. They have a particular heart towards supporting date nights for couples who are in a relationship with a promise of “never turning back,” “ride or die,” and “till death,” and that promise basically rules out a common way to ignite romantic entertainment by changing who they are dating. The inventors want to support marriage as an absolutely beautiful, rewarding, yet challenging relationship, with a solution that works for long-term romantic entertainment.
